About Your Teacher

Susie Durston is a highly experienced and passionate educator with a Bachelor of Education (Hon) degree.  She began teaching in early years and primary classrooms, but chose to step away from the mainstream classroom and follow her own path in order to have the freedom to teach with more creativity and imagination, and to inspire the same within the children and families she engages with. Susie has most recently devoted her time to encouraging creativity in toddlers and pre-school aged children in her “Kids Get Crafty” art and craft school, as she recognises the numerous wonderful benefits of introducing children to creative experiences as early as possible.
