The Children's School of Contemporary Art has developed multi-year programming across all areas of learning allowing us to deliver exciting new content each term. Students are exposed to a broad range of subjects, materials, processes, and techniques throughout their education.

Adults Drawing
Why should kids have all the fun? The Children’s School of Contemporary Art is excited to bring you our 6-week Adult Drawing course! This course is suitable for persons over the age of 16, who are interested in learning fundamental traditional and contemporary drawing skills, over a range of mediums and a variety of subject matter. Join our professional visual art educators as they provide a creative adaptation of our children’s term courses - fun drawing projects for an adult skill level!
Core mediums alternate throughout the year and include: HB, 2B, 4B, 6B graphite pencils, coloured pencils, pastels, pens, markers, blending stumps, erasers and charcoal.

Adults Painting
Why should kids have all the fun? The Children’s School of Contemporary Art is excited to bring you our 6-week Adult Painting course! This course is suitable for persons over the age of 16, who are interested in learning fundamental traditional and contemporary painting skills, over a range of mediums and a variety of subject matter. Join our professional visual art educators as they provide a creative adaptation of our children’s term courses - fun painting projects for an adult skill level!
Core mediums alternate throughout the year and can include: graphite pencils, acrylic paints, watercolour paints, inks, printing inks, fabric/paint markers, natural pigments, water-mixable oil paints, gouache.
Drawing and Painting platforms can include: Digital printing, canvas, cartridge paper, watercolour paper, cotton paper, mixed medium paper, carbon paper, litho paper, tracing paper, card, wood board, fabrics, and plastics.
